Completing the Seals and hunting for the new titles is a fun part of Destiny 2 Endgame, and it can be challenging quite often, especially if you’re trying to assemble the Raid Seal, which requires a coordinated group of 6 Guardians willing to complete the raid with unique encounter conditions and achieve the Triumphs. Today, we’ll take a look at the Crota’s End weekly challenges that you must complete to finish the seal or, at the very least, to gain some extra Oversoul Essence for the Necrochasm quest.

Abyss – Conservation Of Energy
The challenge is to enlighten only one Lantern between the deposits of the Chalice of Light. In other words, the fireteam will have to carry the Chalice and ignore a few lanterns along the way without enlightening it until absolutely necessary. Doing that will quickly gain ten stacks of Weight of Darkness and maximally slow down your team, so make sure to utilize anything that can give you momentum to go forward, such as Strand grapples, Eager Edge swords, and roaming supers. Or you can choose the more patient approach and move through the encounter together, slowly but steadily, communicating the Chalice swaps between the party members. The objective is straightforward and relatively easy to complete with a coordinated group.
Bridge – Precarious Balance
While calling this encounter difficult is not entirely correct, it requires quite a lot of communication. It can be annoying to attempt again if it fails, as the encounter can take quite a while to progress through. The challenge is to get across the bridge while it’s only partially built, and no players are standing on the center plate, meaning you have a little time window to run on the bridge and jump across the chasm with the sword.
The plan is to enlighten every player before sending people over the bridge. It is best if the player is assigned to cross the bridge at a time, stands on the center platform, and then simply rushes off to the bridge with their swords ready to swing, which should be enough to reach the other side safely. Players building the bridge from the other side can give quick countdowns for the runners and then step off the platforms, awaiting the arrival of their teammates. Once everyone is safely brought across, you may finish the encounter.
Due to the communication required, I would consider this particular challenge to be the most complicated of the four weekly ones, and it is incredibly unforgiving to your time and effort when you attempt it on Master difficulty. I have no hard feelings about outsourcing it to Destiny 2 boost service and never touching it again unless I want to get some extra Adept Crota’s End Weapons.
Ir Yut – Equal Vessels
To complete the Challenge on Ir Yut, you must juggle the Chalice by all 6 team members once. To accomplish the task efficiently, you have to assign the chalice rotation, and when everyone knows the order of taking the Chalice, have the last person holding it during each phase come and deposit it in the lower part of the arena. The rest of the encounter plays out as usual – following the assigned rotation and trying to get Ir Yut down in one or two phases will ensure the successful run and secured Triumph.
While the conditions allow players to hold the Chalice more than once during a phase if it’s made the full circle, I would not recommend doing so, as it leads to losing track of the rotation, which should remain the same for each boss phase.
Crota – All for One
For this one, you must completely break Crota’s shields within three seconds. While it is possible to do with two sword bearers, the most optimal and safe way to approach the challenge is to have three people with swords swinging at Crota at once. You must enlighten four players: 3 to deal with Crota and 1 to shoot the Oversoul when the time comes. Instruct the swordbearers not to switch to other weapons once they pick up the sword and use it when needed to deal with the ads – swapping to other weapons will drop the Sword, and you won’t be able to pick it up again. When ready, they should have a countdown and charge Crota together to delete his shield and initiate the damage phase swiftly. Don’t worry if your team can’t kill the boss in one phase – just repeat the process, and you will get it done. I recommend you have one person on the Tractor Duty and ask your Titans to run the Banner of War build for the extra sword damage and the team’s survivability.
